The backbone of the Safe Families for Children movement is the Church. Safe Families works to bridge the gap between the church and community. We partner in equipping the Church to meet the vulnerable and isolated members of our communities to do what the Church does best- provide biblical hospitality.

Safe Families provides vetting, training, supervision, support of volunteers, and works to develop networks within each congregation that can fully support hosting, with the opportunity to engage in a Christ-centered relationship with the whole family. Our partner churches vary in size and denomination, but they share a common theme: a desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need in our community.

Sponsorship supports Safe Families in recruiting, training, and vetting volunteers who provide family-like support to parents and children facing crisis.
